General

Is Syairozi Energy already operating?

We are open for consultation. You can ask for a free consultation and estimate now; we will be straight with you about what we can take on, and when.

Where do you work?

Across Indonesia. For remote sites, we first talk through the survey schedule and logistics.

Do you work with homes, or only businesses?

Both. Our focus is business, because daytime use suits solar best, but we work with homes too.

Rooftop solar

If the panels make more than I use, does the surplus reduce my bill?

Under the rooftop-solar rules in force today, energy sent to the PLN grid is not counted against the bill. That is why we size the system to your daytime use, not as large as possible.

What kind of roof suits solar panels?

One with enough area, the strength to carry the load, and little shade from buildings or trees. Metal, concrete and tiled roofs all work, with different mountings. The survey confirms it.

Do I need PLN’s approval?

Yes, for a grid-connected system. PLN sets quotas per grid system and opens applications in set periods. We handle the application for you.

Hybrid, off-grid and battery

Will I still have power when the grid goes down?

A plain grid-tied system shuts down with the grid, for the safety of line workers. To stay on, you need a hybrid system with a battery, or an off-grid one.

When does a battery make sense?

When you use a lot of power at night, the grid is unreliable, some loads must never go down, or the site is far from the grid.

Pumps and street lights

Do solar street lights need a grid connection?

No. Each light carries its own panel, battery and controller, and switches itself on at dusk.

Can a solar water pump run without a battery?

Yes. Many pumps run straight from the panels by day and fill a tank or pond, so the water is there whenever it is needed.

Survey, design and care

Someone else installed my system. Can you look after it?

Yes. We start with a thorough inspection, then set up a maintenance and monitoring schedule that fits.

How often do panels need cleaning?

It depends on the dust and seasons where you are. In the rainy season panels are often rinsed enough; in the dry season or near dusty roads, more often. Monitoring data shows when it is time.

Process and cost

How much does installation cost?

It depends on the system size, the roof and whether you need a battery. We do not guess at prices: after the survey you receive a detailed written proposal.

How accurate is the estimator on this site?

It gives a rough range from your bill, using current PLN tariffs and Indonesian sunshine data. The real figures come from a site survey.

What should I have ready for the consultation?

A few recent electricity bills, a sense of your operating hours, and photos of the roof or land if you have them. That is enough to start.
